Hatstand has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager at a major financial institution which is investing significantly in developing their technology and data management capability within the regulatory space. Major upheavals to global financial regulation has resulted in regulatory reporting being pushed to the front of investment banks' priorities and budget planning and as such represents a growth area within financial markets.
The regulatory technology group are undergoing a significant upgrade to their global data management platform and require a number of additions to their core project business analysis team on a project that has a multi-year life cycle and significant investment from the business.
The new developments will adhere strictly to Agile methodologies and require Project Manager who have a flexible approach and excellent client liaison skills to succeed on a project that will prove challenging to customers. Work will be a mix of large strategic and small tactical projects.
As a Project Manager you will have solid experience within a structured development environment on large, global data management platforms and be well versed in working to Agile methodologies (stories, sprints). You will work very closely with key business users to define requirements and produce detailed functional specifications for the development groups.
You will assist the technology leads in dealing with business issues and work closely with the development and support groups to ensure smooth project delivery. Strong communication skills are essential, and the team would like someone with experience of working with globally distributed customers who understands local culture differences and the challenges this brings to project delivery.
