Mission description:
Reporting to the Program Director, the Lotus Notes-to-SharePoint migration Project
Manager is responsible for the regional coordination and implementation of our global
migration from Lotus Notes to SharePoint 2010.
Primary responsibilities:
1. Manage global migration from Lotus Notes to SharePoint project from start to finish
involving over a thousand Lotus Notes DB's.
2. Developing the project plan, pilot and rollout phases including source data
assessment and remediation, migration readiness tracking, etc.
3. Assess report and track the plan, risk register, budget, schedules, resources, etc
4. Determining resources needed - including internal and external resources.
5. Coordinating changes needed to implement the project.
6. Publishing a weekly report.
7. Assist technical teams (Call center, Helpdesk, Desktop Engineering, etc) during the
rollout.
8. Communicate to project stakeholders (business and IT), internal customers and
management on an ongoing basis.
9. Organize projects meetings with team members and stakeholders (kick-off,
progress-meetings, and closure meetings).
Profile
1. Project management skill
2. Migration automation skills using templates and scripts
3. Migration paths analysis.
Must Have requirements (mandatory)
1. Minimum 5 years' experience in Quest automation Migration Tool for Lotus Notes
to SharePoint in a global environment
2. Proven expertise in Lotus Notes 8.5 (minimum 5 years)
3. Degree in computer science or related subject matter
4. 10+ years of related experience in Project Management.
5. A minimum major Microsoft Certifications
6. One of the following: PMP, CMMI, ITIL,/Prince 2 certification.
7. Strong written and verbal English communication skills
