Description
You will be a creative lead for Bit Zesty internal and client design work. The purpose of the role is to create stunning websites and web applications for us and our clients; grow with us and by the end of year two to be in charge of a small design team.
The Goals:
Revamp Bit Zesty image
- In the first month you will create stunning visuals for Bit Zesty website that meets management’s expectations and are suitable for company’s target market.
Create amazing designs for our clients
- Wow every client by creating visually pleasing, usable designs for their web applications (and occasionally marketing sites).
- You will successfully communicate with the clients to fully understand the brief and will achieve beautiful designs that meet that brief.
- Help us meet client’s demands and deadlines by turning work around quickly (often in couple of days, not weeks) and by putting in some extra hours as necessary.
Take on more responsibilities when required
- Identify recruitment needs and help us recruit and develop other design team members.
- By the end of year two, take on the role of Lead Designer.
The Requirements:
- Creativity and a great eye for design.
- Strong and stylistically varied website and/or web application design portfolio.
- Experience of being in charge of design direction and communicating with clients.
- Amazing skills in either Photoshop, InDesign or Fireworks.
- Interest in Usability and UX (web application wireframing skills would be advantageous, but not essential).
- Understanding of front-end development (strong coding skills are not essential as you will be working with front-end developer).
