Electronics Engineer, Analogue, Digital, Microprocessors, Instrumentation, Cambridge, £40phTHE ROLE:
A global Electronics business within scientific instrumentation equipment has a requirement for an Electronic Design Engineer to join a small team of Electronic Engineer's for an initial 6 month contract, with a likely extension.
You will be working on a project for a new product where you will be required to apply your design and redesign skills.
You should be an Electronics Engineer with good Analogue and Digital circuitry experience, as well as Embedded Microprocessor knowledge (ideally 16/ 32 bit)
You be must able to work throughout the product lifecycle, from design to manufacture release. EMC testing experience is therefore desirable.
You should also be able to do schematics for PCB design and layout. Experience using Mentor Graphics for schematics would be desirable.
If you are an Electronics Engineer that can work part of a team, is a good communicator and can be responsible and self motivated to meet project deadlines and delivery, then this is an Electronics role for you.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Analogue and Digital circuitry
Embedded Microprocessors ( 16 / 32 bit )
Full product lifecycle experience (design to EMC testing)
PCB Schematic experience (Mentor Graphics ideally)
Good communication skills and ability to work part of a small team
Designing for Instrumentation products is desirable (but not essential)
