Our clientwish to appoint a Service Support Desk Operator/receptionist on a fixed term contract , reporting to the Customer Services Supervisor working within their Service Support Desk Team.The Support Desk acts as is the single point of contact for all service requests, faults and enquiries and is a critical department on client site, for this reason our client requires a pro active & accurate professional wishing to expand their career further in a thriving and professional environment.
Key Role:
Ensure all calls (telephone, fax, email, mail and walk in) are answered in a professional manner
Carry out Booking Services, utilising the designated tool, as well asIFS.
To accurately record and assess the availability of assets using data tables and IFS Call Centre.
To accurately record and manage complaints,
Advising customers of solutions and/or resolution/delivery times.
Ensuring details of actions and updates are entered into the call history accurately, and that customers are kept updated
General administrative duties
Qualifications and Experience
*Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Maths & English).
*Hold a clean UK driving licence.
*Previous experience working in a Helpdesk/Service Desk Environment, desirable. *Experience in the use of call logging and associated systems, desirable. Skills
*Computer literate in Microsoft packages.
*Good interpersonal and communication skills.
*Excellent telephone manner with ability to answer customer telephone calls and concurrently enter data by keyboard.
*Familiar with service based terminology/processes, desirable. Competencies
