Description
Position Responsibilities-
Software development related to advanced manufacturing processes for proprietary sensor systems -
Design, development, and testing of software and algorithms for automated assembly and inspection equipment including:-
Robotics and motion control -
Machine vision systems and algorithms for visual inspection -
PLC and PC control platforms -
Calibration and test algorithms -
Evaluation of off the shelf solutions

Adherence to a well-defined Software Development Lifecycle in accordance with Software Quality Assurance -
Interface with cross functional teams including Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, and Pharmaceutical -
Work with outside vendors in the development of test and assembly platforms -
Development and transfer of systems to contract manufacturers
Basic Qualifications
-
B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering field -
5+ years software development -
Complete Software Development Lifecycle from Requirements Analysis through to Deployment and Maintenance -
Knowledge of programming languages: Primary: C#, LabVIEW. Secondary: C/C++, Java -
Laboratory automation or manufacturing equipment interfaces and communication

Experience with database design, implementation and interfaces -
Familiarity with statistics and data analysis -
Highly motivated, detail oriented, excellent communication skills

Medical Device, Life sciences, Biotech or Biopharma industry experience
