Description
The director of clinical data management will be responsible for the running and sucsessull team management of a team comprising of Clinical Data Managers and EDC services professionals as well as ensuring internal client satisfaction and CDM best practices.Working with senior level sponsors you will be responsible for:
EDC services including creating objects in the standard libraries, developing clear specifications and mapping clinical data to CDISC/ SDTM/ADAM standards
SOP guidelines and managing 3rd parties to ensure clinical timelines are met
Training and development of staff
Team Vision and strategy
Electronic data flow and EDC services offering improvements
Maximizing current data handling processes, and EDC systems
To qualify for this positron you should have over 10 years experience in Data management including 3+ years within a managerial role.
Pervious technical experience should include but not be limited to
Cross functional data base builds
Interaction with IT and other technical department's eCRF & CRF programming
Managing CRO agreements and budgets
UATs
Project Management
CDISC/ CDASH and SDTM models
Ideally a firm understanding of SAS programming and / or biostatistics.
Excellent communication skills and vendor management experience is critical to your applications success as my client are transitioning from an outsourced CRO model to an internal team.
