A leading global financial services provider are growing their audit function in line with an increasing market share and a commitment increased controls and continuous monitoring environment.

Based in London, this multi-entity financial services powerhouse aim to build the most effective audit function in the City and provide; career development, extremely competitive remuneration packages extensive stakeholder interaction and exposure to the latest technology and auditing techniques.

The position has come about because the organisation have provided an opportunity for the current incumbent to move into a new position within the business - an opportunity available to all employees regardless of where what department they operate within.

Essential to the position is the expert knowledge of Computer Assisted Auditing Tools (CAATs) in line with Data analytics, scripting and data migration. Ideal candidates will specialise in using either ACL or IDEA alongside Windows Excel.

As the position sits within the Groups internal Audit Department, solid IT auditing skills and experience must be able to be explained and demonstrated consistently throughout the applicant's career. Comprehension on UNIX, Windows, As400, Unix, SQL, Oracle and / or DB2 is essential.

This particular position will see successful candidates focus on Investment banking information and as such candidates are expected to maintain a certain level of investment banking product knowledge around Equities, Commodities, FX, Derivatives and other exotics.
