Description
My client, a global bank based in the City of London is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to their expanding team. The contract lasts 6 months and has a daily rate of £475-£500. The client has specified that experience in the finance sector is a necessity so please only apply if you have this. Reporting into the Financial Controller, duties for this role include:-Managing team of 5 qualified accountants.
-Overseeing production of annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
-Liaising with group and parent accounting team and presenting periodic results, management accounts, forecasts, budgets and strategy.
-Ad hoc projects as directed. EG: costing, mergers & system development.
-Overseeing transactional duties and ensuring that all incoming/outgoings are billed accurately & timely.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 2-3 years post qualified experience. On top of this, previous management experience is preferable as well as the ability to deliver excellent service to tight deadlines.
