Senior Environmental Planner - GlasgowMy Glasgow based client currently has a live vacancy for an experienced Senior Environmental Planner to join their expanding team. This company pride themselves on being one of the largest engineering consultancies in the UK.
This is a particularly exciting role as it offers the right candidate a career where they will have exposure to a large client base both in the private and public sector. You will be a vital part of the business, ensuring that the organisations busy Environmental Planning department runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender responses
- Coordinate EIA (Environmental Impact Assessments)
- Prepare planning applications
- Offer planning advice to clients where appropriate
- Point of contact for junior members of staff
Requirements
- Relevant degree (Ideally in planning)
- Exposure to the Renewable Energy Industry (or similar)
- Industry/Commercial experience in a similar position
- Familiarity with Planning Law, Planning Procedures
- Consultancy experience would be ideal however is not essential
To compliment the requirements above, it is important that you have excellent communication skills as there will be times where you deal directly with the client.
