Our client currently requires a Senior SAP BW Configurer to provide production support of the department's SAP environment including SAP architectural services for the EAP suite of products. This includes the administration, monitoring and maintenance of the systems, evaluating and implementing updates from the vendor, managing and implementing customisations as required.

In particular, our client is seeking a resource that can provide a high level of BW configuration skills and knowledge and are able to actively transfer skills and knowledge to less experienced team members.

Skills/experience:

  • Expert level BW configuration skills, particularly as they apply to one or more of the SAP HR, BI and SRM modules.
  • The ability to provide high level advice and assistance in the support of a large SAP landscape, including SAP R/3, SAP Web Application Server, SAP BI/BW, SAP Internet Transaction Server and SAP Enterprise Portal (including SAP Workplace).
  • Experience in developing and maintaining applications interfacing into an SAP environment, specifically .NET applications developed using the SAP .NET Connector, Web Services operating in a Microsoft Environment, SAP WebDynpro and SAP.
  • Experience in the maintenance and management of a large SAP landscape in a SQL 2000/Windows 2003 landscape is an advantage;

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS who currently hold or are able to gain a BASELINE (Protected) security clearance.
