Our client is a high profile Government Agency located in Canberra. They are currently looking to fill a key position within their ICT team. The department is looking for a Senior Systems Infrastructure Developer to design, develop and install core infrastructure and systems.

The successful candidates will need to have experience with installation of systems infrastructure in one or more of the following areas

• Core infrastructure that supports Domino/Notes, WebSphere, Java applications, and Enterprise applications such as Oracle, Fast, Cognos
• Server/desktops/laptop SOEs that support the following systems; main office and domestic office
• SAN storage and virtual tape libraries
• System virtualisation (HP, VMWare, Citrix)

To be successful the candidate must also have extensive knowledge of systems infrastructure development using:

• HP server, desktop, laptop and storage equipment;
• Microsoft Windows and Redhat Linux
• System virtualisation (HP, VMWare, Citrix)
• Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Group Policies, Sanctuary, etc.
• Security management using various products
