To ensure that the Safety Management Systems are complied with at all times. To deliver against the requirements of the Excellence in Operations plan for activities on Client contracts. Ensuring that all Global business activities are carried out fully in accordance with the requirements of the Company's BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality system, procedures and work instructions. Active participation in leading improvements to the Quality Management System

Foster the right relationships between the company and the Client at senior and executive management levels so that the Client business and contracting needs are clearly understood and communicated.

Ensure that the Client is kept appraised of product and service capabilities, latest technology developments, best practices, key milestones, etc.

Gain and share intelligence on Clients future activities, spending plans and contracting activities as they relate products and services

Identify opportunities for products, services, technologies and integrated solutions. Rank business opportunities according to their strategic value, revenue growth and profitability

Develop, in collaboration with the Regions and Product Lines, strategies and action plans for securing these key opportunities

Engage the Client at multiple levels to assist the Regions and Product Lines with the execution of these strategies and action plans. Manage interaction between the company and the Client corporate offices, research and development centres accordingly.

Compile and maintain an effective Global Client Account Plan that details how the relationship with the Client will be managed. This plan will include key objectives, milestones, responsibilities of personnel and a summary of the key opportunities, strategies and action plans.

Manage & coordinate the flow of communication between the Client and the company. This will include but not be limited to development of corporate level strategic initiatives, technical presentations / seminars, performance reviews, problem job analysis and follow up contractual and commercial problems.

To provide strategic input and support to significant Client tender exercises.

Collaborate with Client to develop a global contracting arrangement.

Co-ordinate any Group reporting requested by the Client such as the collation of operational, quality, commercial and HSE performance statistics

Facilitate corporate level Client entertainment, as may be required

Attend industry events, as required

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
  • Liaison with Client and gathering of Client intelligence
  • Open communication withGlobal PL, Global BD and Region BD/Sales and Operations groups
  • Influencing, without authority, the variousGlobal PLand Regional organisations to execute Client account strategies
  • Collection and collation of competitor intelligence relating to Client activity
  • Strategic input and techno-commercial guidance to all significant CLIENT tenders and Proposals
  • Signing authority commensurate with responsibilities
  • Collating and analysing the company's HSEQ and operational KPIs for global Client activity. Presenting this performance data to Client at regular reviews.

Qualification required:
  • 15-20 years industry experience
  • Practical experience in well services related field eg well intervention, production systems, etc
  • Preferred business or engineering degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial astuteness
  • Good decision making and negotiation skills
