This reputable Government Department is seeking a talented ETL Developer to join its IT department for an initial 6 month contract starting ASAP. The successful applicant will required to work as part of a team on a network analytics project.
    The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following;
    • Extract, design and implement extraction and load control
    • Analysis, design, construction and implementation of Data Integration solution;
    • Drafting and consultation on design and implementation documentation;
    • Lead/mentor junior DataStage resources and conduct peer review;
    • Analyse, test and promote changes to the environments following SDL and contribute to existing standards, procedures and best practices for ETL framework.
    To be suitable for this role you will ideally have:
    • 3+ years development experience with DataStage
    • Multiple full-life cycle BI or Data Migration project experience including both design and implementation on same projects. IBM DB2 AIX skills (preferred)
    • Knowledge of XML and or UMF
    • Sound practical SQL experience
    • Testing (integration and regression) capability.
