Procurement Manager - Blue Chip company

A leading Blue Chip company is currently seeking to hire a contract Procurement Manager to come on-board and assist on a number of sourcing and procurement initiatives currently being launched within the company.

Duties will include:

  • Managing new suppliers, services and service extensions
  • Suppliers and contract management activities
  • Maintaining awareness and leveraging commercial opportunities
  • Stakeholder management
  • Maintaining awareness of industry developments and best practices

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:

  • In depth procurement skills in medium to large organisation
  • Procurement experience in: Professional service engagements, contingent staff hire, legal services, corporate facilities, marketing and technology
  • Ability to operate across teams, cultural and organisation boundaries
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Business aware and customer focused
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience of supplier selection
  • Experience of resolving disputes and English contract law concepts
  • CIPS or equivalent qualification/experience
