Procurement Manager - Blue Chip company
A leading Blue Chip company is currently seeking to hire a contract Procurement Manager to come on-board and assist on a number of sourcing and procurement initiatives currently being launched within the company.
Duties will include:
- Managing new suppliers, services and service extensions
- Suppliers and contract management activities
- Maintaining awareness and leveraging commercial opportunities
- Stakeholder management
- Maintaining awareness of industry developments and best practices
In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- In depth procurement skills in medium to large organisation
- Procurement experience in: Professional service engagements, contingent staff hire, legal services, corporate facilities, marketing and technology
- Ability to operate across teams, cultural and organisation boundaries
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Business aware and customer focused
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience of supplier selection
- Experience of resolving disputes and English contract law concepts
- CIPS or equivalent qualification/experience
