SAP SCM consultant
Our Global client is urgently looking for a SAP SCM consultant that can perform the upgrade of SCM 5.0 to 7.0. The project is based on technical upgrade to the currently known latest SCM release level, SCM 7.0 EHP2. Candidates must have SCM Optimizer 7.03 installation exp.
The activities needed to be executed to upgrade the SCM landscape to SAP SCM 7.0 EHP2 are:
Preparation (Plan of Approach and detailed planning)
Building SANDBOX SCX environment (incl. OS, SoD, SAP and copy of SCD/SLD, SCQ/SLQ or SCP/SLP)
Downloading software and related SAP-Notes
SCM 7.0 EHP2 upgrade (including LiveCache upgrade ( to 7.9) on Sandbox system
Testing (by customer) on upgraded sandbox system and problem solving (shared customer)
Runbook and detailed planning live systems (SCD/SLD, SCQ/SLQ and SCP/SLP).
Increase Storage/SAPS capacity (if required)
Upgrade DEV (SCD/SLD)
Upgrade QA (SCQ/SLQ)
Upgrade PRD (SCP/SLP); partly on a Sunday due to required downtime
SAP SCM Optimizer installation on DEV, QA and Prod (if required)
Aftercare
Hand-over to Managed Operations (quality-check, monitoring, backup, reporting, update information, etc.)
Decommissioning Sandbox system
