G'day,
- Can you create a WordPress theme from scratch (PSDs), using Foundation and SASS?
- Does that theme have breakpoints?
- Follows best practices for page loading?
- It's efficient?
- Are you able to create custom WordPress goodies (custom post types, shortcodes, widgets, metaboxes) and create the admin tools for regular people to use?
- Do you like pirates (the kind with parrots on their shoulders)?
- Do you look at themes on ThemeForest.net and go... "Psssh."
If you answered YES to all of the above, and are able to back it up with some examples, we'd like to talk to you.
We're looking for a freelancer with the above abilities to work on our new WordPress ventures. Our company's a young startup offshoot of our 7 year old parent company, and we're looking for somebody that fits the above skills as well as a personality fit with the rest of our team. We're starting slow and growing carefully, and quality people are important.
Presently we're looking for somebody on a project basis but it could grow into a full time gig. Working remotely with occasional video chats is fine, though if you're in Seattle or Orange County we'd love to meet in person from time to time.
