A major financial client abased in Northamptonshire are looking for a Finance Analyst
8 Month contract role
Rate £140 per day
The role:
Responsibility for developing, implementing, monitoring & reviewing controls and checks for PPI payments and reconciliations to limit the risk of write off
Extract financial data from various internal reports and systems relating to operational PROC
Process Management Up to 50 %
Responsibility for developing, implementing, monitoring & reviewing controls and checks for PPI payments and reconciliations to limit the risk of write off
Extract financial data from various internal reports and systems relating to operational processes and perform a detailed reconciliation of financial movements.
Ensure that the appropriate accounting treatment is followed and amendments made where appropriate.
Creating and providing management information to allow the tracking of the processes and business issues
Analyse and resolve business, financial and processing issues making recommendations for the most effective and efficient solutions to problems.
Point of reference for colleagues, handling more complex requests or queries.
Proactively maintain and develop own up to date specialist process and system knowledge to act as a point of reference.
Change Activity Up to 20 %
Pro-actively review processes/procedures and requirements, identifying areas of improvement and supporting the implementation of change.
Participate in and support the planning and research of a variety of process efficiency initiatives.
Focus on developing, implementing and sharing best practice
Relationship Management Up to 20 %
May be required to deal with queries relating to banks/customers referred from the Team.

Is responsible for own personal development & will work with own People Manager to agree plan of objectives to gain relevant knowledge & skills to perform tasks
