MI & Planning Analyst - Financial Services - Stirling - 3 months

One of Hyphens FTSE 100 Financial Services clients is looking to recruit an MI and Planning Analyst for an initial period of 3 months based in Craigforth, Stirling.

As an MI & Planning Analyst it will be your responsibility to:
*To produce first class management reporting on performance within UK Operations, which will underpin decisions and strategies.
*Support the business ability to delivery customer service and key business goals through a robust planning process
*Establish the medium-term (12-18months) resource requirements to support agreed Service Levels & KPI's across the business.
*Own the data behind the calculations (Volumes, Unit Time, Management Allowance etc.)
*Ensuring that the business area of responsibility has brought into the process and data being used.
*Identify any resource issues (required v budget) and suggest appropriate corrective action.
*Establish & build strong working relationships with business areas at team manager level & above, reviewing local planning & offering custom built solutions where appropriate.
Knowledge:
*Knowledge of Customer Services/Operations.
*Good knowledge of management information systems.
*Understanding of Business Processes
*Detailed understanding of planning frameworks and methods
*Good knowledge of financial services business process and production management

Skills:
*Ability to interact at all levels.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Ability to create robust data-capture processes.
*First-rate MS excel/VBA skills and general PC literacy essential.
*Ability to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills, being able to clearly articulate issues and propose recommendations with clarity and concisely both written and verbally.
*To create reports with high visual impact.
*High achiever/self starter, able to operate in a self-managed environment.
*An ability to work under pressure and cope with competing demands.
*Ability to understand complex business issues and the impact on the business of proposed solutions
*Ability to demonstrate excellent listening and comprehension skills to formulate appropriate options
*Ability to demonstrate a robust analytical approach to more complex requirements
*Able to work as part of a team - balancing individual needs with team goals
