Looking for a permanent go-to programmer whenever needed for fixes, new features or entire new projects as needed, but mostly one-off freelance odds and ends on an on-call basis.
1. The most important thing that I'm looking for, is a dependable and responsive individual who has a very quick turnaround. You must always respond within at least 24 hours and when you say you'll have something done tomorrow, by Friday or whatever date specified, you need to honor that or at least provide notice if something has come up that will delay your work. Keeping me up-to-date and responsive email communication is very important.
2. I need someone who cares about the quality of their code, not just making something work as quickly as you can slap it together. I need someone who cares about using modern standards, avoiding deprecated code and using minimal, hand-written code to get it done.
3. Though not every project will be specifically WordPress related, a lot of it will be so an intimate knowledge of programming themes and plugins according to WordPress requirements and recommendations is important.
Payments will be made via PayPal. Hourly and/or flat rates for the given project depending on what we both agree is fair and appropriate beforehand for the given work on a case to case basis.
