Description

We require an excellent C# developer with >4 years experience in this technology. The successful candidate will work within the IRG Risk and P&L Development group on the latest generation of realtime risk and P&L systems used by the long term swap, treasury and agency businesses. The focus will be on the continued enhancement of the trade feeds from our existing deal capture platform and a move onto newer systems. However work on other aspects of the platform is probable depending on business priorities. This is a high profile role with close ties to the business and the candidate should be used to working in an environment with a focus on quality developments and deliveries - sometimes with very short timescales.

Duties
- Development on the C# server side components with a focus on the trade feeds
- Possible development on other aspects of the system using WPF and Java
- Focus on quality and governance - documentation and adherence to the project methodologies (a combination of Agile and internal governance methodologies)
- Support of the platform and handling of calls from the trading groups

Essential Skills
- Excellent C# skills >5 years
- Team player
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile
- Familiarity with task/issue tracking tools such as Jira
- Familiarity with source control tolls such as SVN
- Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
- Experience of realtime, asynchronous, distributed system design and development
- Good problem solving skills

Advantageous Skills
- Experience with Oracle Coherence and Java
- Familiarity of Fixed Income products such as Swaps, US Treasuries etc
