Description
Description of Responsibilities:
- Very heavy (80% or more) on test planning, development, and execution and light on project and test leadership/management (less than 20%).
Requirements/Desirables are:
- Experienced in automated testing. Ability to use Scripting and other techniques to build automated tests in various tools
- Experience in creating functional and performance tests
- Experience with SoapUI, Pro version required
- Experience in an agile environment. Understanding of QA's role within a functional scrum team is a big component
- Push to Test experience desired but not required
- BBY experience a big plus
Role would consist of the following:
- Participate in story discussions and planning each sprint
- Based on discussions, UAT's and other data, develop test cases and aggregate into test plans for each feature
- Lead the effort to automate selected test cases (targeting > 60%)
- Work with offshore QA resources to ensure test cases are run as soon as working software is delivered
- Write up clearly defined defects when found and work with developers to ensure corrections
