We are currently searching for a QA Analyst to work in Tongeren, Belgium for 6 months + a permanent contract after the first 6 months. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
Job responsibilities include:
Supplying quality assurance oversight for the web application platform and architecture;
Testing applications within Internet/web based solutions;
Writing test plans and test cases;
Working closely together with project teams on test strategies and test tracking;
Working closely with the development team on identifying bugs;
Researching complex functionality;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ability to consistently deliver top-level project results in a technology team environment;
Knowledge of Java technologies and HP Quality Center;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong capacity for logical thinking, with the ability to understand complex applications - must be a creative problem solver;
Naturally bright; ability to consistently deliver top-level results in a team environment;
Excellent writing, communication, analysis and organization skills required;
QA Experience within an E-commerce environment (preferable retail, high volume transactional);
Fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written);
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent;
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
Programming skills in Java, VBScript and Javascript;
Experience with automated testing is a plus, but not required;
This position will involve database verifications, so familiarity with databases (SQL and/or concepts) is preferred;
