We are seeking an exceedingly talented web engineer to join our team of creative and technology experts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress theme development with superior Front-End/UI Development and backend programming skills.
Responsibilities:
• Development of W3C complaint HTML5 WordPress themes from design comps
• Integrate Social Network API to extend functionality to WordPress
• Develop custom WordPress plugins using the WordPress API/Hooks
• Write clean code with good naming conventions
• Continually deliver assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Clear verbal and written communication with the team members
• Ongoing daily maintenance updates and additions from our current client base
Skills:
First and foremost you must have an undying passion for web development with every effort executed as if you were reaching for the stars. In addition to that, you should be highly skilled in the following areas:
WordPress Theme/Plugin Development
Social Networking API Integration
HTML 5
CSS 3
jQuery and jQuery UI
OOP PHP

Responsive Web Design
Linux command line

You should be an individual that can stand back and think critically about the best way to implement a solution not only from an engineering perspective, but from a user perspective as well. We use SEO best practices when developing HTML markup and therefore candidate is required to be familiar with those practices as well. Familiarity with source control in SVN and Linux command line are a must.
