VMware, Active Directory, Server Support, Citrix, XenApp and AppSense, BIG IP, F5, TCP/IP, Active Directory, App-V6 Month Contract - Infrastructure Engineer - Manchester based - £300 - £360 per day - Start ASAP
We require an IT Infrastructure Engineer with several years' experience working with and troubleshooting LANs, WANs and servers to provide maternity cover until November 2013. Working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, daily duties will revolve around responding to escalated IT incidents and performing project tasks.
The successful Infrastructure Platform Analyst will have in-depth experience of:
*In depth troubleshooting of VMware, XenApp, Active Directory, AppSense, Citrix Provisioning Servers, Web applications and Websites built on IIS and SQL technologies, App-V
*Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of experience administrating for XenApp version 4.5 to version 6, XenDesktop5, Citrix Provisioning Servers and NetScaler
*Strong networking knowledge - TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS
*A good knowledge and hands on experience of current Windows server operating environments, Windows Terminal Services, Active Directory and Group Policy
*Familiarity with F5 BIG IP Local Traffic Manager and Global Traffic Manager and their use in Load Balancing traffic
*Experience of supporting Windows Terminal Services and Citrix
*Scripting knowledge - vbs, wmi, powershell
*Active Directory, Windows Server and good awareness of the Microsoft operating systems
