This a fantastic opportunity to join a financially robust and growing company.

They are looking for someone with creativity and flair to simplify and update their Quality Control Systems and procedures to reduce complexity and increase effectiveness. So you can really influence and make a difference in this role.

Responsibilities include:

- Effective Management of multi-disciplinary staff (Chemists, Technicians and Packaging Component Staff, 40 in all, employed in 4 laboratories)

- Control of Department Budget.

- Responsible for Health and Safety within QC Department.

- Maintenance of quality control systems and procedures to cGMP Standards.

- Responsible for ensuring new product introduction and major projects are adequately managed and resourced.

To be considered for this role you will need:

- An Honours Degree in Chemistry, membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry (Chartered Chemist).

- It would be desirable to be a "Qualified Person" but this is not a pre-requisite.

- Ten to fifteen years laboratory experience needed, some at supervisory level, to give the depth and breadth of knowledge required for the role.

- Training in man-management is a requirement as well
