Embedded Systems Engineer (Embedded Linux/FPGA/OO)

Embedded systems engineer with Embedded Linux, digital hardware (FPGA) and Object Orientated Design experience required for a global innovator in fueling technology. This is a 6 month initial contract, based in Toulouse France, with a rate of €45-65 per hour (depending on experience).

Skills & experience
3 years developing Embedded systems
1 year experience designing digital hardware (FPGA)
C programming (C++ or Java is a plus)
RTOS - demonstrate knowledge of task scheduling and inter-task communication
Experience developing for Linux
Object Oriented software development experience is a plus
Experience UML is a plus
Experience using Eclipse is a plus

Responsibilities
Developing Real Time Embedded software in C, C++, assembly and/or Java
Design hardware and/or firmware products for fuel management systems
Design printed circuit boards utilising schematic capture and PCB layout tools
Mentor less senior Embedded systems engineers
Perform engineering and design assignments 
Perform troubleshooting and testing procedures using circuit emulators and logic analysers
Maintain firmware and hardware and add features

As an Embedded systems engineer you will play a key part of the team that designs and develops Embedded Linux based Microcontroller fuel control and accounting equipment.
