Client Seeking C++ Developer - QT GUI Developer - Banking and Finance - Chicago
C++ developer role arisen for financial institution upgrading their existing infrastructure. My client, a leading financial company based in Chicago, is looking for a strong C++ developer to join their team on a contract basis. Thanks to some aggressive growth, they require the C++ developer to start on a project to implement a new high frequency trading platform. However due to the esoteric nature of the GUI QT requirement, it is not a necessity that the C++ developer has worked on Greenfield trading platform development projects in the past.
Task for the C++ Developer - QT GUI Developer - Banking and Finance - Chicago
The current project is focused on GUI design using QT, and so experience working with QT in the past is required although the C++ developer can be from a non-finance background. The ideal candidate would be an exceptionally strong developer, who has a passion for problem solving, and a keen eye for detail. As financial experience is not required, this is a perfect opportunity for a skilled C++ developer to break into the financial area.
C++ Developer - QT GUI Developer - Banking and Finance - Chicago
- Strong C++ development expertise from any background
- GUI development, especially QT experience
- Experience with Boost, STL and Visual Studio
- Strong communication skills, and ability to work well in a team and as an individual
- C++ development on Legacy systems is a bonus
- C++ development of a high frequency trading platform is a bonus
- C# experience is a bonus, but the key requirement here is C++ and GUI QT
