My client is a Government body seeking an interim Commercial Manager for a 6 month contract.
The role will sit within a programme and requires the post holder to conduct a contract review exercise with stakeholders, prepare an options paper on the various options of contract changes required, initiate the required work to draft and agree a revised template contract, lead the roll out and support negotiations with existing contract holders.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide expertise on all contract matters
- Conduct due diligence
- Ensure all contracts are kept update with formal amendments due to changes
- Ensure any arrangements where the organisation acts as a supplier are correctly formalised with risks identified and mitigated

Experience required:
- Commercial management experience gained in a public sector environment is highly desirable
- In depth knowledge of contract law, commercial practices
- Experience in drafting contract templates

Ideally you will also hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant business activity
