One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an iSeries Server Management Specialist.

In this job role will have expertise in managing and operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business.
The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process, and maintenance of regulatory, legal, and professional standards, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance, and management of bought-in services including outsourced services.
Typical examples of the deliverables are service-level reporting, risk, and contingency planning. IT Specialists who apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions.
Individuals who are part of Support typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical customer situations.
-is the focal point of the Iseries Server Team towards the SM/PE community and other Service Delivery teams for all matters related to his/her customer
-is responsible for the overall technical environment of the customer and for the quality of the full range of services provided by the team (including completeness of documentation, pro-active problem management and root cause analysis, change management, reporting, backup/restore tests, security management, asset management, performance management )
-is responsible to follow the right processes and to update related databases, teamrooms with the correct and up to date information.
-is doing the follow-up and coordinates the activities performed by other iSeries system engineers for customer
