Currently our client, who is a Market Leader in the Renewable Energy sector, is looking for multiple Marine Coordinator to support their project in the UK.

Job Description:

- Assist Lead Marine Coordinator in setting up Marine Coordination (MC) office.
- Implementing Marine Coordination Procedures
- Carrying out marine coordination duties for the project
- This will be on a 12-24 hour/day basis with a duty telephone for the out-of-hours response
- Daily running of the marine coordination office. The MC will be the point of contact for the wind farm in relation to the project`s emergency situations that occur during the Offshore Construction stage
- Carrying out suitability surveys of smaller vessels prior to their acceptance and any other marine assignments in agreement with the client`s requirements
- Deputy the Lead Marine Coordinator when he/she is away
- Site Inductions, management of personnel tracking and operating the vessel coordination system
- Issuing notices to mariners
- Monitoring and coordinating vessel traffic, personnel and materials to and from the offshore site
- Chairing a Daily Meeting with participation of all relevant parties and subsequently issue a MC Daily Meeting Report
- Issuing a Weekly Notice
- Issuing a Crew Boat Look Ahead when needed


Qualification of Candidate:

Staff with min 5 years at sea as master/chief officer.
Skills: STCW95 Certified Master Mariner Examination. Certificates of skill incl. validity of certificate shall be forwarded.


Special Provision:

- The Consultant must bring his own PC with Microsoft Office 2007 software and mobile telephone.
- Onshore Works: The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space.
- Offshore Works: The Consultant shall bring his/her own PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
- Rotation: 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off duty with 7 working days per week.
