Description
An international bank, located in downtown Boston, is seeking a highly skilled AVP UI Developer. The developer will focus on the web UI of a sophisticated electronic trading platform. This platform is used by 19 of the top 20 largest asset managers. The UI Developer should be an expert of modern web UI technologies. This includes object oriented JavaScript and advance knowledge of CSS. The trading platform UI is mostly built on Ext JS. Ext JS experience is not essential but highly desirable; graphics design expertise is also a big plus. Good knowledge and experience with java programming, especially core java and java web technologies including servlet and jsp is also highly desirable.Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience with object oriented JavaScript and CSS is essential
- Solid experience with core java and java web technologies. Any knowledge and experience with database development (SQL) is highly desirable
- Good work ethics. Excellent communication skills. The candidate is expected to work closely with business and other members of the development and QA team.
- Prior financial experience is desirable
