We have an excellent opportunity to join the Chassis engineering department of a UK based automotive manufacturer.

Position Description:
Defining customer level functions and use cases for stability control systems and their associated software definition including interface and communication requirements.

Skills Required:
"The definition of stability control functions for implementation on new vehicle projects To develop functional requirements to deliver the required control functions To create customer based use cases to explain how the function should operate To cascade and agree these functions, functional requirements and use cases to the supplier in order to ensure a robust first application"

Skills Preferred:
IBM Rational DOORS, Microsoft office, CAN analysis

Experience Required:
Experience in software function definition and interface specification for vehicle networks. Experience in CAN network protocols. Experience in vehicle stability control systems and their associated interfaces and/or Vehicle Dynamics
Experience Preferred:
Experience in software function definition and interface specification for vehicle networks. Experience in CAN network protocols. Experience in vehicle stability control systems and their associated interfaces and/or Vehicle Dynamics

Education Required:
Engineering or systems engineering degree

Education Preferred:
Engineering or systems engineering masters

Additional Information:
Willing to support vehicle application & development work if necessary. Staff D Working hours Friday 3.30 pm Staff D
