ERP Project Manager, East Midlands, (6 Months)Role
To implement Microsoft Dynamics AX, from cradle to grave, within an engineering organisation.
To lead both the functional implementation as well as educate existing employees in the system and lead the comprehensive testing programme. In line with the Financial Director.
Experience
Considering yourself a specialist within ERP you will be reporting directly to the Financial Director. You will have extensive experience leading large scale full cycle ERP implementation projects and will ideally have had significant exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX. You will also have led projects within various engineering industry sectors and have the ability to shape the strategy and direction of the entire project using prince II methodology. You will have a proven track record engaging with and managing stakeholders and must have experience managing 3rd party suppliers as well as clear people skills in order to successfully manage this project
Knowledge
Previous experience of working within an ERP implementation project.
An appreciation of the Microsoft software development life cycle
ERP Project Management experience
Prince II practioner
Understanding, and experience, of ERP software packages e.g. Dynamics NAV, AX.
Knowledge of the engineering sector
