The Company:
A global company with offices worldwide and their Head Office based in the UK.
The Role:
Internal role dealing with staff on site and remotely. This is a backfill to cover BAU work as a result of their Infrastructure specialist getting involved in a number of projects. This is a hands on role with a lot of interaction.
Duties will include:
- Windows Server Administration
- Daily backup, adminastration of systems
- Monitoring performance, security etc
- Assisting the Desktop team during busy periods.
The Requirements:
Our client is seeking a strong communicator with a proven track record working in a large enterprise level environment. As the team in Sydney is small, you will be required to assist during busy periods with the help desk and not be afraid to take responsibility and accountability for the department.
Experience in the follow areas are a distinct advantage:
- Windows Server
- Exchange and Active Directory Administration
- Citrix/VMware/Hyper-V
- Cisco/Avaya phone systems
- Firewall and Antivirus technologies
- Wireless/LAN & WAN etc
- Exposure to HP/IBM Servers an advantage also.
