Mechanical Engineer - Design/Investigation Support - CONTRACT
My exclusive client in the South East area urgently requires the services of a Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis to mainly support design and analysis/investigation activities.
Duration: 3-6 months +
Typical responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer will include investigation of cause and solutions of product failures; monitor/investigate reliability and advise on possible solutions to resolve problems; advise on new designs and the design life cycle through test, production, installation etc; and give technical support to various stakeholders including the field and customers etc.
Skills required:
* Ideally working knowledge of CAD packages such as Solidworks and/or Pro Engineer, AutoCAD etc
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar environment.
* Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience of working to project plans would be a bonus
