Functional/Technical Analyst SOA
Location: Brussels
Duration: 3 months + extension
Start: ASAP
You are responsible for ensuring the normalization of the IT information exchange. You will be part of the Information Technology Services department of the bank.
This function requires varied competences and many contacts with different types of stakeholders and contact points both on technical and business side.
The functional analyst plays an important role at the start of the execution phase when the architecture is approved and the detailed specifications of services need to be made.
As functional analyst your main tasks are the following:
- You provide and enforce guidelines on services identification and versioning.
- You support the service specification phase by training project members, reviewing the quality of the deliverables, and providing feedback.
- You coach Solution & Domain Architects and Analysts on usage of the industry models (IBM IFW Models).
- You ensure that the service identification and approval process is followed (eg perform quick checks, organize review with stakeholders, collect stakeholder feedback, organize approval meeting, and publish artefacts).
- You are part of the SOA Governance Board to review and approve the services.
- You contribute to the service repository management by ensuring that all service artefacts are captured and then made available in a manner that enables future service standards compliance, discovery, analysis and reuse.
- You liaise with projects and ensure project documentation is done correctly in the modelling tool.
Your profile
- Level Master or equivalent by experience
- Medior experience (3- 5 years)
- Excellent knowledge of English and preferably good knowledge of French and/or Dutch
- Service oriented architecture (SOA), modelling (UML), and XML standards knowledge
- Familiar with object modelling (Knowledge of IBM IFW Models is a significant plus)
- Knowledge of financial sector is a plus
