A well respected Public Sector Client in the Essex area are looking for a Stock Control Administrator to support their IT service in the appropriate allocaton, registering, and asset management of procured items.
Purpose of Role:
*To support the CSU ICT service in the appropriate allocation, registering, and asset management of procured items.
*To provide cover and support for the procurement process for the organisation and the customers as required. To obtain quotations ensuring SFIs are complied with, and to process the orders ensuring deadlines and delivery requirements are met.
*To provide a range of administration functions as directed, including the allocation and monitoring equipment, the receipt of deliveries and issuing of equipment to engineers and customers.
*All ICT staff will be expected to effectively use true Matrix working where applicable to deliver service excellence to the customer base.
Experience/Key Knowledge:
*Significant experience of working in an administrative position providing comprehensive administrative services to an ICT Support Unit, including the management of detailed information.
*Experience developing efficient administration systems including quality management and monitoring systems for the administration services of the department; maintaining stocks and supplies
*Experience of co-ordinating databases to a high level of accuracy.
*Experience of working and engaging with a variety of senior staff
*Experience working within SLAs
*Experience prioritising and meeting the business needs of a busy team, within a complex Matrix of requirements
