Our client requires an experience Stress & Volume Tester for a number of Tier 1 projects currently being undertaken by the Department.

The role:

  • Manage multiple competing priorities for S&V.
  • Assist in the analysis of any performance issues
  • Perform analysis of non-functional requirements and determine the level of Stress and Volume testing required, prepare the data, environment and scripts and collate results for multiple complex projects
  • Management of the dedicated S&V environments
  • Provide estimates and develop S&V testing deliverables in accordance with the Test Framework

Skills/experience:

  • Ability to perform stress & volume testing across a variety of systems
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage own work against competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated communication and negotiating skills
  • Stress and Volume Testing Services skills & experience
  • Ability to construct complex SQL
  • Specialization in Stress and Volume Testing, including systems built on Web/HTTP, Socket/ODBC, AJAX-based web portals, MQ, Webmethods and Mainframe backends.
  • Experience in the execution of performance tests under various load profiles, as well as the analysis of transaction response times, server and network metrics to diagnose performance bottlenecks.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS who currently hold a BASELINE security clearance.
