Description
We are seeking to recruit a QlikView data analyst for a top tier investment bank.
Role:
- Design and development of the QlikView solution
- Documenting data transformation requirements for the QlikView solution.
- Tactical data staging infrastructure setup to support the QlikView solution
- Development of the data integration layer, utilising SQL server based ETL tools.
- Work with testing and validation teams to provide support throughout testing and dress rehearsal phases
- Assisting the Business Analyst to document the functional and technical design of the QlikView solution
Technical experience
- Proficient in QlikView data mapping and screen modelling, and ETL development specifically:
- Financial services experience
- Data mapping/transformation experience
- Grounding in data analysis
- Computer language skills (QlikView, SQL)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Access)
Experience
- Financial Services Project Experience across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements
- Experience conducting systems analysis and design efforts
- Track record of successfully delivering accurate systems development based on approved documentation.
- Demonstrated experience of large scale project implementations involving IT
- Experience of working in a large banking organisation
