Web Development ManagerA successful proprietary trading firm in Toronto is currently looking for a candidate to work in their Web Application team. They need someone with experience in PHP and/or LAMP and/or Perl programming for web applications. Useful technical skills include Unix/Linux, Perl (minimum 2 years experience), Shell, Python, CGI, HTML, AJAX, CSS, SQL etc.
This is a full time, permanent role. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining web based applications; supporting, troubleshooting and fixing problems that arise in existing systems.
The client is a private institutional investment management company, and operates on a global scale, and has been successful in its automation in the development of its trading processes.
