Description
A global medical device client is looking for a talented sourcing / commodity manager who will be able to step in immediately and contribute to the strong culture in place.The sourcing manager will be responsible for sourcing vendors and suppliers so good communication and negotiation skills will be paramount. This person will also be responsible for commodity management across all sites so organization is key. This role will require 30-50% travel to various suppliers sites but will be based out of the site out of Irvine, CA.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 10+ years experience in purchasing / sourcing management
- medical device industry experience (GMP)
- Good communication skills, written/oral
- negotation/contract experience
