Description
The IT Support Officer will report to the Client Services Team Leaders, providing quality technical support for mobile devices and other supported systems and infrastructure. This role will require you to assist with replacement of Desktop PC's, installing new hardware, applying an SOE and additional applications. The IT Support Officer will contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of Information Service plans, policies and procedures, in order to deliver effective IT facilities and services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support and advice to users both over the phone and in person.
- Ensure all devices conform with build standards and policies.
- Build, test and deploy approved hardware within agreed SLT's.
- 1st/2nd level Helpdesk activities.
- Participating in accident investigation and risk management activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience using PC imaging and deployment software, eg: Altiris or Microsoft SCCM.
- Experience supporting Apple mobile devices in an enterprise environment.
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant Tertiary and Technical qualifications and/or significant equivalent experience in service delivery in an IT environment.
