Description
On behalf of a financial services client JCW are engaged to find an Internal Auditor to work on a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Group Risk Management and Internal Audit in planning and leading financial and operational audit reviews. They will also be responsible for contributing towards implementing Group and subsidary policies and procedures, liaising with external auditors, ensuring compliance with new and existing legislation and undertaking various investigations and ad hoc projects across the Group.
This is a high profile role, providing significant exposure to Senior Management. FSA, Commercial, RICS, ARMA and Landlord and Tenants Act, knowledge is advantageous. In addition you must possess the ability to identify opportunities for improving cost effectiveness within financial and business processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate and CCAB qualified. Preferably ACA or ACCA.
EXPERIENCE:
Strong Accounting background;
3 years or more External/Internal Audit experience of reviewing systems and controls;
Experience of writing reports of high standards;
Risk Based Internal Auditing; and
Client Money and Treasury audit experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Good knowledge of FSA, RICS, ARMA, Landlord and Tenants Act client money regulations;
Ability to work alone and as part of a team;
