IT Infrastructure Architect jobs in Brussels, French, Dutch
The Architect assesses the impact of company proposals on our IT infrastructure and processes. With experts, project sponsors and managers, the Architect refines project objectives and translates business requirements into IT solution specifications. The Architect is responsible for aligning the support teams to define and apply non-functional requirements (alarming, service monitoring, business continuity, disaster recovery, SLAs).

Our client operates in a large infrastructure base: over 210 business and technical projects are handled annually by our department, with multi-million IT investments; candidates should come from a similar background. In terms of technologies, candidates should be familiar with Middleware technologies, OS (Unix, Windows), SAN, clustering, virtualization, enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Siebel) and load balancing.
Some expertise in project management is desirable, specifically in relation to budgets and costs, since the Architect gives counsel regarding the evolution of our technological platforms, defining strategies and roadmaps.
