Mobile Applications Developer
As a member of a multinational Global IT team you will work in a highly dynamic, fast changing and fluid work environment whereby you will participate in all phases of development for a consumer mobile shopping platform from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and deployment to ensure all work is to the highest standards.
Requirements:
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Experienced UI developer with broad understanding of all the components of large consumer facing web applications.
* UI development experience.
* Excellent JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 skills
* Experienced in developing dynamic JavaScript Applications.
* Good understanding of web technologies, usability, Object Oriented programming and development frameworks. At least 5+ years as a software engineering using OO languages (Java, C++, C# etc.).
* Cross browser and cross device web app development
Desirable Skills:
* Experience of modern web development toolkits and libraries such as Backbone, Underscore, Angular, Ember, JQuery, etc.
* Practical knowledge of working within a continuous build environment including working with a Source Control Management tool.
* Experience of agile development processes an advantage
* Experience of internationalisation/localization an advantage
* Knowledge of Unit Testing
* Experience in iOS development.
* Experience in Android development.
* Experience in Windows 8 development.
* Experience building native and web applications.
* Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system.
* Experience in development of Server Side/enterprise systems would be an advantage.
Education/Experience
* Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience
