Description
My client is a industry leading medical education (CME) organization. We are looking for a Scientific Director to join the team in the Manhattan office. You will be responsible for the clinical/scientific editing of educational content, pulling the content of educational programs together, engaging with Faculty and KOL's, and managing the development of a range of online education deliverables. Your work will focus across the breadth of the Cardiology / Cardiovascular therapeutic area.Your work will include:
-Acting as a Scientific Lead / expert for Cardiology
-Planning, coordinating, editing, and reviewing all clinical / CME content
-Securing authors and writers
-Preparing CME documentation and needs assessments
-Gap analysis and identification of educational needs
Experience:
-Candidates need strong experience within the Cardio space, i.e. conversant with key/emerging issues in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment and to be able to communicate effectively with the thought leaders and readers.
-Excellent editorial (review and writing) skills
-You will need extensive clinical writing and editing experience
-An advanced health-related degree (Masters or above, dependent upon experience)
