This position has changed. The client said he will consider candidates with any E-commerce server knowledge. Microsoft Commerce Server, WebSphere Commerce Server, etc. Position is located in Atlanta, GA 12 to 18 month contract 4 positions

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements, system impacts, functional specifications, detailed use cases and works with architects and developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or developed company applications or systems and prepares documentation including detailed descriptions, flow charts, diagrams, and system interface descriptions outlining systems capabilities and processes.
Assists in low-level definition, design, adherence and management of enterprise and application architecture solutions. Translate business and user requirements into accurate system requirements specification documents through systems and data analysis.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiates and executes initiatives to improve the processes, procedures, and tools utilized by the team.
Reviews deliverables and provides input for other analysts.
Utilize departmental Software Development Lifecycle Methodology as a guide for analyst activities.
Creates and delivers articulate and effective oral presentations to a variety of audiences, large or small, internal or external.
Coordinates with production support on system enhancements, provides ongoing operating support and supports production releases as required.

Functional/Technical Skills:
Ability to lead cross functional design sessions
Ability to recommend trade-off discussions with project stakeholders and Sr. Management.
Experience with & capability to train others on various business process and system modelling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, Process decomposition, and Use Cases.
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of the application systems and identify, evaluate and define impacts of changes, provide alternatives both to the application changing and all upstream and downstream systems, or identify if a change is a manual process taking into account the entire picture as well as the details.
Generally assigned to Enterprise, cross-functional and cross-departmental projects with high complexity and cross-system impacts.
Has thoroughly demonstrated working knowledge to conceptualize, document and communicate innovative solutions to meet or exceed business objectives.
Applies modelling techniques to Analyst deliverables.
Experience: 5-8 years minimum experience in systems analysis of medium to large scale projects
Commerce Server experience- Microsoft Commerce Server or IBM WebSphere Commerce Server
5-8 years experience creating Requirement, Functional Specification, & Test Requirement documents required
5-8 years experience with supporting both purchased and in-house developed applications required
