A leading financial firm in downtown Chicago is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join their team for a contract opportunity.You will be working with the Systems team and must have strong experience working with Linux/Unix systems. Experience checking network interfaces and gateways, shutting down and start up the operating system. Troubleshooting and shell scripting and programming experience are both requirements as well.
Details of job:
-Strong experience with Linux/Unix as well as Solaris
-Shell scripting and program experience
-Web interface management and creation of accounts
- Ability to check out disk drives and cpus
- Local candidates to the Chicago area are strongly preferred
