An excellent client of ours is looking to make a number of new hires into their business. A financial services company are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join their team in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional and regression test plans and test cases.
- Execute test cases adhering to automation and manual procedures
- Contribute to project schedule on QA tasks
- Participate in formal reviews of application designs, business and functional requirements.
- Initiate and own test cycle tasks including schedule/conduct triage meetings, create/send daily test reports, and seek defect resolution.
- Identify functional tests to be used for regression tests
- Build automated regression tests.
- Ability to escalate technical and functional issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- At least 3-4 years Quality Assurance experience with functional and regression testing methodologies
- Web services testing and Soap tools eg SoaTEST
- Agile
- Experience in Rational Products ( Rational Test Manager, Rational Quality Manager, Rational Functional Tester, Rational Team Concert)
- Experience of Scripting tools eg QTP would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
